Dysport targets one of the underlying causes of frown lines and crow’s feet—the repeated muscle contractions from frowning and squinting over the years. Your provider will inject these muscles with Dysport to temporarily reduce muscle activity. You will begin to notice a visible smoothing of your crow’s feet lines and frown lines between your brows.

There is typically no downtime with Dysport. You should be able to resume normal activities within 30 to 60 minutes after treatment. You may notice some localized swelling, bruising, tenderness, and bleeding at the injection sites. These symptoms are caused by the process of making the injections, not the Dysport, and should resolve within two to three days.
