Learn Inside a

Working Aesthetic Practice

Learning how to inject is only part of becoming a great aesthetic injector.

You also need to learn how to assess the entire face, understand anatomy, select the appropriate treatment, communicate realistic expectations, and know when not to inject.

At Concierge Aesthetics, training takes place inside the same clinical environment where we have treated patients throughout Orange County since 2009.

Rather than focusing simply on where to place a needle, our approach emphasizes the thought process behind treatment:

  • What does this patient actually need?
  • Which areas should be treated first?
  • Which product or technique makes the most sense?
  • How can we create improvement without making someone look overdone?

That philosophy has shaped the Concierge Aesthetics approach for more than 17 years.

Train With

Stacy Vencill, PA-C, MPH

Founder of Concierge Aesthetics

Stacy Vencill, PA-C, MPH is the Founder and Owner of Concierge Aesthetics and an experienced aesthetic injector specializing in natural-looking facial rejuvenation.

After graduating from the George Washington University Physician Assistant Program and earning both a Master of Science and Master of Public Health, Stacy worked in family medicine, medical spas, and plastic surgery practices before founding Concierge Aesthetics in 2009.

Over the years, she has completed extensive advanced training in neuromodulators and dermal fillers and has served as a national trainer for Allergan, helping educate other medical professionals in Botox Cosmetic and dermal filler techniques.

Her philosophy is simple:
“The best aesthetic result shouldn’t announce that someone had work done.”

It should create balance, restore what has changed over time, and help the patient look like a refreshed version of themselves.

That same philosophy guides injector training at Concierge Aesthetics.

Who Is Aesthetic Injector Training For?

Our Irvine aesthetic injector training is designed for licensed medical professionals interested in beginning or advancing their careers in medical aesthetics.

Depending upon California scope-of-practice requirements, participants may include:

Physicians — MD / DO

For physicians interested in incorporating aesthetic medicine into an existing practice or developing greater proficiency with cosmetic injectables.

Physician Associates / Assistants — PA-C

For PAs interested in entering medical aesthetics or expanding their existing injectable knowledge and technique.

Nurse Practitioners — NP

For nurse practitioners interested in developing practical experience with aesthetic consultations, neuromodulators, fillers, and facial assessment.

Registered Nurses — RN

For registered nurses seeking aesthetic injection education while practicing under the appropriate physician delegation, standardized procedures, supervision, and other requirements applicable under California law.

Other licensed healthcare professionals may be eligible depending upon their California license and permitted scope of practice.

Training does not expand or alter a participant’s professional scope of practice. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that any procedures they perform are permitted under their applicable license and California law.

Aesthetic Injector Training Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed around the skills aesthetic providers use in everyday clinical practice — from the initial facial assessment through treatment planning, injection technique, safety, and follow-up.

01 — FACIAL ANATOMY

Anatomy, danger zones, proportions & facial assessment

Develop a deeper understanding of facial anatomy and how it influences aesthetic treatment.

Training may include:

  • Facial musculature and movement patterns
  • Vascular anatomy and important danger zones
  • Facial proportions and symmetry
  • Age-related changes in bone, fat, muscle, and skin
  • Full-face assessment
  • Identifying treatment priorities

The goal isn’t simply learning where you can inject. It’s learning why, when, and whether you should.

03 — DERMAL FILLERS

Product selection, depth, needle/cannula & facial balance

Learn how dermal fillers can be used strategically to restore volume, improve proportion, and create greater facial harmony.

Depending upon the training program and participant experience, areas may include:

  • Lips
  • Cheeks and midface
  • Chin
  • Jawline
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Marionette area
  • Temples
  • Under-eye area
  • Additional advanced treatment areas

Training includes discussion of product selection, appropriate depth, needle versus cannula techniques, patient selection, facial balance, and avoiding overcorrection.

05 — INJECTION TECHNIQUE

Placement, depth, entry points & technique

Hands-on instruction focuses on developing safe, controlled and deliberate injection technique.

Depending upon the course, instruction may cover:

  • Needle versus cannula
  • Injection depth
  • Product placement
  • Dosing
  • Entry points
  • Tissue assessment
  • Hand positioning and control
  • Patient comfort
  • Symmetry evaluation
  • Real-time adjustment during treatment

Our goal is not to teach a single “formula.” Every face is different, and treatment should reflect that.

02 — NEUROMODULATORS

Botox, Dysport, dosing, placement & customization

Develop practical knowledge of wrinkle-relaxing injectable treatments such as Botox Cosmetic and Dysport.

Topics may include:

  • Mechanism of action
  • Patient assessment
  • Facial muscle evaluation
  • Product preparation and dosing considerations
  • Injection depth and placement
  • Forehead treatment
  • Glabellar lines
  • Crow’s feet
  • Brow positioning
  • Lower-face applications
  • Treatment customization
  • Avoiding unnatural or “frozen” results
  • Managing asymmetry and potential complications

Our emphasis is on creating results that look refreshed and natural while preserving the patient’s individual facial characteristics.

04 — FULL-FACE PLANNING

Consultation, prioritization & treatment planning

One of the most important skills an injector can develop happens before the syringe is ever opened.

You’ll learn how experienced aesthetic providers evaluate a patient’s concerns within the context of the entire face.

This includes:

  • Identifying the patient’s primary concerns
  • Distinguishing what a patient asks for from what may actually benefit them
  • Evaluating facial balance and proportion
  • Prioritizing treatments
  • Creating short- and long-term treatment plans
  • Setting realistic expectations
  • Explaining treatment recommendations clearly
  • Recognizing when treatment should be postponed or declined

At Concierge Aesthetics, we believe great aesthetic medicine is not about treating individual lines or isolated areas. It is about understanding the face as a whole.

06 — SAFETY

Complications, vascular occlusion & protocols

Confidence as an injector also means understanding what can go wrong and knowing how to respond.

Training includes discussion of:

  • Facial vascular anatomy
  • Bruising and swelling
  • Product-related complications
  • Ptosis and neuromodulator complications
  • Vascular occlusion recognition
  • Emergency protocols
  • Hyaluronidase considerations
  • Infection prevention
  • Sterile technique
  • Documentation
  • Patient follow-up

Patient safety should always come before the aesthetic result.

  • Small-GroupFocused training allows for individualized feedback.
